Charles R. Walmer is spinning off his Thurmont MD station, WTHU-AM, to a noncommercial entity called Christian Radio Coalition Inc. It’s headed by Michael & Donna Betteridge, Edward & Marva Ambush, and Kevin Brown. The station will be valued at 150K, 50K of which will be paid via a promissory note. Thurmont is in the area between Frederick and the state border with Pennsylvania.
