L’Oreal Loads Up On Cable Spots

A French cosmetics company that’s a global leader in makeup, cosmetics, hair care and perfume has taken to cable TV spots to help boost sales ahead of the Labor Day holiday.

L’Oréal soared from No. 61 to No. 8, thanks to the appearance of 25,295 ads.

What other companies are actively using spot cable?

In last week’s Media Monitors Cable Spot Ten report, GEICO was No. 1 again, with 47,473 spots.  Progressive held on to second place, with 37,399 ads.

Insurance continues to be a big category for cable spots, with Liberty Mutual Insurance rising to No. 4, with 31,813 spots.
