Media Monitors proudly announced late yesterday that it has been granted accreditation by the Media Rating Council (MRC) for its Radio Spot Service. The subsidiary of Clear Channel’s RCS tracks spots played on radio through its patented audio fingerprinting.
“This is a thrilling moment for Media Monitors. After years of rolling out the most reliable monitoring service for broadcasters, this is the icing on the cake. We continue to pledge to the industry the highest quality data with unmatched speed,” said Philippe Generali, President and CEO of Media Monitors.
“Media Monitors is the first radio monitoring service to be audited and accredited by MRC and I congratulate them on this noteworthy accomplishment for the spot radio advertising component of their service. MRC accreditation provides subscribers with confidence that Media Monitors is identifying and reporting radio advertising occurrences in accordance with MRC Standards,” said George Ivie, Executive Director of the Media Rating Council.
