Mediaedge:cia (MEC) has appointed Ed Ling as Managing Director for Global Solutions, the agency’s division of international media specialists.
Ling comes to MEC following his departure from AnalogFolk, the full-service digital agency established by Ling and five other founding partners in February 2008. As Managing Director for Global Solutions London, Ling will lead the agency’s multinational business team and drive strategic leadership across its global client base.
As Ling takes on this role in London he will lead a team of 100 specialists and apply his extensive digital and strategic heritage to MEC’s global clients, including Sony Ericsson, Novartis, Paramount, Visa, Star Alliance, Colgate Palmolive, Accenture and Xerox amongst others. This latest appointment follows the recent changes to MEC’s global management structure and Ling will report directly to Caroline Foster Kenny, MEC’s global Chief Client Officer.
