Spanish Broadcasting System announced that Mega TV will launch "Agenda del Inmigrante," airing simultaneously on TV and over the Internet (mega.tv) every Sunday at 7:00 pm ET. Launching October 21st, "Agenda del Inmigrante" stars Mexican-American Council President Maria C. Garza and will focus on immigration issues in the United States. Garza came to the US as an immigrant from Mexico and endured many of the same difficulties immigrants still face today.
"Agenda del Inmigrante" begins with live invitations for the audience to visit the website and and pose questions for the guests appearing on the show each week, who will then answer these questions on air to help the audience better understand immigration issues. Each broadcast will focus on a different aspect of immigration each week, while drawing on the experience of each guest.
