Wierzchowski’s novel that captivated Brazil has been reproduced in a very realistic manner and with a lot of romance and passion.

Ideally, they have the perfect family, but the war has forced Uruguayan and her daughter, Perpétua, with her three children, and María who is Bento’s younger sister and her three daughters, Rosario, Manuela and Mariana to take refuge. The women are joined by Ana Joaquina, Bento’s carefree and spiritual sister, and the owner of the place where they must remain in confinement for many years.
