iHeartRadio is adding a new automaker to the list of those who make it easy to use the iHeartRadio app in its dashboard infotainment system.
Mercedes-Benz is integrating iHeartRadio into several vehicle models as part of its mbrace platform.
The radio broadcaster says over the coming weeks, drivers will be able to access iHeartRadio stations through either Mercedes-Benz apps or an mbrace Entertain subscription, enabling consumers to browse stations by genre or location.
This means consumers won’t lose the radio program when they drive out of range, according to the broadcaster.
The capabilities will roll out to 2014 – 2016 model drivers through the end of this month.
