Oklahoma Broadcast Associates is taking the lead role in a merger that will bring it together with ME3 Communications Company LLC and result in the formation of a new company, to be called TVOK Network LLC.

OBA, headed by B.V. “Curly” Corwin, is starting out with KTEW-LD Ponca City OK and translator K35JY-D Lamont OK.

It will be picking up KXOK-LD Enid OK from ME3, headed by Jack Mills. Mills will have an ongoing role in the surviving company.

The merger is valued at $75K.

TVOK already has acquired FCC permission to rebroadcast KTEW on KXOK.

While were on LPTVs on the move, we can report that Channel 9 WACX-LP Tallahassee FL is being sold. Association Christian Television System Inc., headed by Claud Bowers, is the seller. The buyer, which has already prepaid the entire $25K price tag for the station, is Restoration Place Inc., headed by Richard N. Ledford II.
