Mexican 1st Division Soccer League is back on GLR

Starting this Friday July 23rd, GLR Networks will bring coverage of the Mexican 1st Division Soccer games in Torneo Apertura 2010. GLR Networks’ broadcasts include exclusive radio rights to top Mexican soccer team Chivas de Guadalajara’s home games and coverage of six more teams: Pachuca, Cruz Azul, Morelia, Santos, Tecos and Puebla.


The live action will start with three matches:
Tecos vs. Cruz Azul – Friday July 23rd at 8:30pm (ET) / 5:30pm (PT)
Chivas vs. Puebla – Saturday July 24th at 7:30pm (ET) / 4:30pm (PT)
Monarcas vs. Atlas – Sunday July 25th at 12:30pm (ET) / 9:30pm (PT)

Broadcasts are produced specifically for US listeners with narration by renowned expert Samuel Jacobo, commentaries by sports journalist Ricardo Mayorga and the participation of legendary Jorge Campos, with the support of our coverage in Mexico. The team from Estadio W in Mexico, made up of renowned sports persona, is lead by Francisco Javier Gonzalez, one of the most popular and respected sportscasters in the country. Program includes a 30 minute pre-game and a 15 minute post–game with highlights, stats and commentaries, plus in-depth interviews and a look-ahead to the prime time match-ups to be played the following weekend.
