MFM-BCCA Announce Member Awards For NoLa Show

Media Financial Management Association (MFM) and its BCCA subsidiary, the media industry’s credit association, have revealed the recipients of the association’s 2019 membership awards.


The awards will be presented during the group’s 59th Annual Conference, scheduled for May 20-22 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in New Orleans.


Radio and Television Business Report editor-in-chief Adam Jacobson will be covering sessions as an exclusive media partner for the broadcast TV and radio sector.


 

The recognition will be held on Tuesday, May 21 beginning with a reception at 5:45 p.m. The reception is co-sponsored by Oracle and Media Whys and is followed by the Awards Ceremony and Concert with Jake Wesley Rogers sponsored by BMI.   

Awards will be presented in three categories during the day – The MFM Rainmaker Award, The MFM Working Capital Award and the BCCA Contributor Award.  

The MFM Rainmaker Award is given in recognition of a member whose efforts and contributions have helped increase MFM’s resources.  This year’s recipients are:

  • Joe Waring, EPI/Cordillera Communications
  • Paul Rahmlow, Midwest Communications and WRIG
  • Randy Bradford, Nexstar Media Group, Inc.  

The MFM Working Capital Award, is given in recognition of a member who has made significant contributions of their time to make MFM programs and publications better.  This year’s honorees are:

  • Jenna Hardy, Gearbox Software, LLC
  • Aqueelah Traylor-Morgan, WarnerMedia (formerly Turner)
  • Mike Lavey, Tribune Publishing

The Contributor Award is given to an individual for their contributions to the Media Credit Committee and educational programs.  This year’s award will be presented to Tonya Sorrells of Hearst Television during Tuesday’s General Session beginning at 8:45 a.m.

Collins, president, and CEO of MFM and BCCA. “It is because of their dedication and unswerving contributions to our association that we are able to grow and evolve as a force within the media industry, I salute each of them.”
