Merging Convergence With Interactivity

A new era for broadcast media is dawning, led by convergence and interaction between traditional broadcast TV and OTT. Both have significant strengths, but combined the opportunities are limitless.

In fact, traditional broadcasters continue to have strong branding and a solid local base, while OTT breaks boundaries by enabling service provision across regions and permitting interactivity and personalization.

Although there has been plenty of noise in the media about the convergence and interaction of the two, the truth is that it has by no means reached its full potential.
