Is ‘Net-Connected TV Penetration Maxing Out?

The likelihood that a household with broadband connectivity has an internet-connected television has soared in just the last three years.


That’s the key finding from new research from Plano, Texas-based market forecaster The Diffusion Group (TDG).

In fact, the penetration of Internet-connected TVs among U.S. broadband households has increased from 50% in 2013 to 74% at the end of 2016. But, getting to 80% may be a slow go.
