Clark Smidt, a 50-year veteran Broadcast Advisor and Media Connector, is extremely energized about the state of the radio industry. He has nothing but positives to say about the recent 2016 Radio Show in Nashville, and offers a “post-NAB” commentary that also serves as a thank you to the industry for knocking it out of the ballpark with positive vibes and insightful sessions.

The 2016 Radio Show produced by RAB and NAB was a home run. The event saw its best attendance since 2010. It was held in an excellent main venue (the Omni Nashville Hotel), right in the heart of Music City.

There was live music. College students were present — a good sign for the industry’s future.

It was easy to navigate.

Best of all, there was an upbeat atmosphere, making it all outstanding.
