Dial Global’s Michael Smerconish, his affiliate radio stations, and their listeners, have, to-date this year, raised more than $100,000 from the proceeds of the second annual 9/11 tribute pin. The pin is offered in partnership with Steven Singer, Philadelphia’s premiere jeweler, for the benefit of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, PA.
For a $10 donation, listeners receive the 9/11 Never Forget Pin and one hundred percent of the money will be donated to the Flight 93 National Memorial Fund. Steven Singer is contributing the shipping costs. In 2009, the effort raised $30,000.
