After 10 years, The Wild NHL team will move next season from CBS Radio’s WCCO-AM 830 to Clear Channel’s KFAN-AM 1130 in a three-year deal. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves NBA team has moved their broadcasts next season from KFAN to WCCO in a four-year deal. KFAN also airs the Vikings and University of Minnesota sports. Bob Kurtz, Tom Reid and Kevin Falness will continue to call the Wild games. Beginning next season, WCCO will broadcast all 82 of the Timberwolves’ regular-season games, plus two preseason games and playoff games if they qualify.

The announcement comes less than a month after WCCO lost all U Minnesota Gophers sports to 1500 ESPN and KFAN.
