Mix 94.1 Las Vegas, in partnership with Sam’s Club and Wells Fargo, present the 12th Annual “Four Corners Food Drive” 11/12-11/15. Four Corners Food Drive is a canned and non-perishable food drive to benefit the City Mission of Las Vegas for local families in need. Donations will be accepted every day at a different local Sam’s Club location where participants will receive a free one day pass to the store to purchase charitable donations.
Donations will also be accepted at the two other Sam’s Club locations in the valley. Additionally, listeners will be able to log on to Mix941.fm and make a donation online if they are unable to make it to a Sam’s Club location.
For the first time, Mix 94.1 has launched a competition among all public and private schools in the Clark County area to encourage students, parents, teachers, faculty and friends to make a donation on-site at Four Corners Food Drive on behalf of their school of choice. The school that receives the highest number of donations on its behalf will win an acoustic performance from Mix 94.1 artist and American Idol, Kris Allen on Friday, November 19 at the winning school. Mix 94.1 has also partnered with AEG Live this year, to offer an incentive for listeners to come out and donate at this year’s Four Corners Food Drive. Listeners who stop by one of our daily Sam’s Club locations can sign up to win a pair of tickets to see Lifehouse and Kris Allen live at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, November 19. Winners will also receive passes into an exclusive Mix Underground Lounge to see Lifehouse up-close and unplugged before the concert.
Last year Mix 94.1 reached over 200,000 donated items. Sponsors included: Sam’s Club, Wells Fargo, Clear, Weight Watchers, Findlay VW, Massage Envy, 1-800-GOT-JUNK, and AEG Live.
