The government’s report on retail sales was better than expected on Friday, but that was countered by a drop in consumer confidence in a private report by Reuters/University of Michigan. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 13 points, or 0.1%, to 10,625, but the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite were both lower – as were broadcast stocks.
The RBR Radio Index was down 2.267, or 0.9%, to 260.485.
The TVBR Television Index was down 0.261, or 0.2%, to 163.708.
