At Home On Top Of Radio’s Advertiser Roster

For several weeks, GEICO has demonstrated prowess in its efforts to reach consumers through a variety of media opportunities, including radio.

But, another big brand is solidly at the top, dwarfing the rest in play count of spots airing on stations across the U.S. tracked by Media Monitors.

For the week ending April 15, the Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report puts The Home Depot at No. 1 with a sizable lead — thanks to 68,235 spot plays.

GEICO is at No. 3 (when including iHeartRadio spots), with 39,338 spots.

A new effort for CVS/Pharmacy puts the drug store brand that’s also the parent of Longs Drugs at No. 7, while rent-to-own retail giant Aaron‘s is new at No. 6 with 24,402 spots aired.

Lastly, No. 10 belongs to Amazon Music — an interesting entry as Apple continues to see sales erosion from its once-dominant iTunes platform.
