Two big brands are heavy users of spot radio. One is The Home Depot, regularly found at the top of Media Monitors’ Spot 10 Radio reports. The latest report shows a change at the top. Surprise: It’s one of the top advertisers in the nation.
As shown below, GEICO was the top advertiser using spot radio last week to reach consumers.
And, when combining the play count for both The Home Depot and GEICO, more than 97,000 spots are accounted for.
Familiar faces rounded out the top five: Sprint rises to No. 3 with with 39,290 ads run, while the top QSR using spot radio is McDonald’s, this week’s No. 4. Job search outfit Indeed is No. 6, with 30,327.
Indeed replaced Walmart in the top five while the other four leaders just shuffled places.
