Procter & Gamble Co. is one company that has rediscovered the ROI that radio advertisements can bring. The use of AM and FM stations through Spot Radio efforts has been championed by P&G Chief Brand Officer Marc Pritchard.

For the week ending Oct. 6, this embrace of radio sees two P&G brands embark on new campaigns that have landed these marks well within the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report.

As shown below, Vicks is entering cough and cold season by embracing broadcast media. This includes a big new effort incorporating spot radio into the mix.

The other P&G brand using radio in the last week? It’s Tide.

With the two brands, P&G accounted for 52,599 spot plays at the radio stations iHeart-owned Media Monitors tracks.

Overall, GEICO remains the big No. 1, while The Home Depot is No. 2 — further proof that these brands along with P&G love Radio.
