QSRs Gain Ground As Spot Cable Key Category

Auto insurance specialists may reign at spot cable, but quick-service restaurants (QSRs) are certainly using the medium to lure in the summertime crowds.


One look at the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report shows Burger King, Popeyes and Taco Bell among the more active advertisers for the week ending July 7.

For Popeyes, a big campaign boost is in progress, putting it in the top 10 thanks to some 36,370 spots.

Burger King is No. 3 overall, with 42,186 spots tracked by iHeart-owned Media Monitors.
