Retailers Rule At Spot TV, As Auto Activity Lags


November is officially over at midnight. And, that would normally see a wide variety of auto dealer associations injecting dollars into spot television. This year, that’s not the case, as the pandemic continues to puncture the automotive ad balloon at broadcast media.

In the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten TV report, just two auto brands can be found. The bigger story is the department store sector, which spent heavily — and reportedly suffered from soft Black Friday traffic.
