With GEICO and The Home Depot leading the way for brands using spot radio in the first days of 2019, it is refreshing to see increased activity from a brand that’s been new to radio — or, perhaps, one that has bumped up its ad spending in recent weeks.
That’s just what Indeed has done.
The popular job search site knows when employers are hiring, and right after Labor Day and following Jan. 1, job seekers seem to have the upper hand, with business going into search mode.
To boost the chances it finds the right talent, Indeed is using radio.
For the week ending Jan. 6, 2019, some 31,436 spots were detected by iHeartMedia-owned Media Monitors.
This puts Indeed at No. 3, discounting iHeartRadio spots that could have been placed internally, with no true exchange of dollars.
Also hot this week: Walgreens.
