The latest Spot Ten Cable report from Media Monitors is out, and the quest for coverage among motorists remains fast and furious for the big auto insurance companies operating across the U.S.
But, there’s a new No. 1: the Gecko has been supplanted by Jaime and Flo.
As shown below, Progressive is now the No. 1 brand using spot cable, for the week ending April 1, 2018.
That’s big, because Progressive’s spot count in the prior week was much lower than that of regular leader GEICO.
Now, Progressive takes the crown with 49,302 spots, compared to 47,720 for GEICO.
State Farm climbs to No. 4, with 33,593 spots while Liberty Mutual Insurance dips from No. 5 to No. 10.
