The MMG Radio Network says the popular Travel Show with Arthur and Pauline Frommer will join its lineup beginning 10/6.  The weekly radio program will continue to originate from WOR 710 in New York City, as it has for over 10 years.

“Arthur and Pauline Frommer are universally regarded as the nation’s foremost travel authorities.  We are thrilled to be working with them, and look forward to developing an even larger audience for them in the years ahead,” said Media Management Group President/CEO Jeff Schwartz.  “The Frommers already have the most widely-recognized name in travel advice, and they publish the leading series of travel guidebooks in the nation (in addition to a nationally-distributed newspaper column and heavily-followed website).  As syndicated by MMG, their weekly radio show will now be heard by an even larger number of radio stations than ever before, including the considerable audience that tunes in each week to The Frommers’ Travel Show on WOR in the tri-state, New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area.

“We share MMG’s enthusiasm,” added Arthur and Pauline Frommer.  “And we look forward to working with them to expand the nationwide audience for the show that WOR. presents so effectively in the Northeast.  Already, listeners from all over the nation phone in their weekly questions to us on The Travel Show, in which we conduct a lively and opinionated broadcast”.

The MMG Radio Network’s current roster includes The Pet Show with Warren Eckstein, AARP Radio, and Steppin’ Out.
