RBR + TVBR already told you that newly minted FCC Chairman Ajit Pai will be making one of his first speaking engagements in his new role at the Multicultural Media, Telecom & Internet Council (MMTC)‘s eighth annual Broadband & Social Justice Summit & Fintech Empowerment Forum.

It’s now known that Pai will be joined by FCC Commissioners Mignon Clyburn and Michael O’Rielly, and that one of the television industry’s biggest executives — Nexstar Media Group founder and President/CEO Perry Sook — will also be in attendance.

The Feb. 7 event will see Pai, Clyburn and O’Rielly participate in the FCC Commissioners’ Breakfast discussing the nation’s internet, communications, technology and digital future.

The MMTC has not publicly determined which session Sook will participate in.

There will also be a former FCC Chair’s Roundtable, and Michael Copps, Reed Hundt, and Richard Wiley will be sharing their thoughts on “social justice and the FCC.”

Also set to speak are NABOB President James Winston, former FCC Commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate, National Urban League President/CEO Mark Morial, and Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.).

The summit and forum will be held at the Westin Georgetown Hotel, at 2350 M Street, N.W. [Metro: Foggy Bottom].
