Monroe: From one Holladay to another

Robert Holladay is buying a Monroe FM from Clay Holladay, but since his cluster is already maxed out, an existing FM is being sent away for KP duty – courtesy of KP Music Group LLC.

Robert Holladay’s Holladay Broadcasting of Louisiana LLC is getting KNOE-FM from Clay Holladay’s Radio Monroe LLC. The price will be $1.775M cash.

The Adult CHR will join five of Robert’s six stations – Urban outlets KRJO-AM and KRVV-FM, News-Talk-Sports KMLB-AM, Classic Hit KLIP-FM and Country KJLO-FM.

Meanwhile, to make room for KNOE-FM, Robert is spinning Urban AC KJMG-FM to the aforementioned KP Music Group LLC, headed by Calvin H. Murray. The $700K purchase price will be handled in its entirety over time via a promissory note. It will be Murray’s only station.
