More Red From Media Stocks On Wall Street

U.S. financial markets largely retreated in mid-week trading on Wednesday, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 112.30 points, to 23,329.46, and the Nasdaq composite index dipped 34.54, to 6,563.89.


Media stocks weren’t immune to the overall dips, as Viacom once again lost ground, slipping 17 cents to $25.48.

Meanwhile, Urban One experienced a 23.1% drop in its stock price, due to a 45-cent dip, to $1.50.

And, despite a good Q3, SiriusXM slid 2.8%, to $5.56.

Not all the activity was downbeat: Sinclair Broadcast Group gained 20 cents, to $31.
