MSTV moves in with NAB

The merger of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Association for Maximum Service Television (MSTV) is complete. According to the NAB, it surveyed its membership and found overwhelming support for the merger. The two organizations worked side-by-side to complete the successful conversion, and the two organizations have traditionally worked together on regulatory issues of common interest.

MSTV’s top exec is the only one of five key MSTV employees who is not moving over to NAB. Now former MSTV President David Donovan is headed for the New York State Broadcasters Association, where he will serve as President and Executive Director.

NAB said that among those staying with NAB are Victor Tawil and Bruce Franca, who will serve with NAB’s Science and Technology Department as senior vice president and vice president respectively.
