Media Vista Group has closed on its acquisition of four low power television stations from SP Television.
They quartet bring Univision programming to three markets. Two, WIVF-LP and WLZE-LP, are located in Fort Myers. Also included are KUKC-LP Kansas City MO and WUMN-LP Minneapolis MN. The deal was filed with the FCC 1/7/13.
According to Greg Guy of Patrick Communications, the deal went in the books at $3.5M.
The seller is a subsidiary of Silver Point Capital. Duane Lammers signed off on the deal.
Heading up the buyer, according to Guy, is CEO Orlando Rosales.
