'Muppets Christmas' delivers holiday cheer for The CW

A MUPPETS CHRISTMAS Gives The CW Best Time Period Numbers of the Season in Viewers and Key Demos.


The Muppets got things started on The CW last night, with A MUPPETS CHRISTMAS propelling the network to its most watched Wednesday night in a year (2.16 million) and its highest rated Wednesday night of the season among adults 18-49 (0.8/2) and women 18-49 (1.1/3), according to preliminary Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.

A MUPPETS CHRISTMAS averaged 2.4 million viewers, the best in the time period since Dec. 8, 2010.  Among adults 18-34 (0.8/3), women 18-34 (1.1/3), adults 18-49 (0.8/2) and women 18-49 (1.0/3), it was the best ratings for the time period since April 13, 2011. The children 2-11 rating (1.3) was the best in the time period since Sept. 19, 2007.

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL held steady from its last elimination episode two weeks ago in viewers (1.9M), adults 18-34 (0.8/2), adults 18-49 (0.8/2) and women 18-49 (1.2/3).
