In his last conference call News Corporation CEO Rupert Murdoch said “The more I read about investments in Russia, the less I like the feel of it.” Well, News Corp. does have one significant investment in Russia – News Outdoor Group – but perhaps not for long. Paris-based JCDecaux is in exclusive talks with News Corp. about acquiring News Outdoor, whose billboard operations are primarily in Russia. JCDecaux is the world’s second largest outdoor advertising company after Clear Channel Outdoor.
