What is the future for broadcast radio in the dashboard of vehicles big and small on the roads across America?
It’s a question many have asked, and remains one of great importance to broadcast media’s C-Suites. Now, the NAB is helping to bring clarity to what lies ahead for AM and FM while consumers are on the road by presenting an hour-long webinar on Thursday (12/14) featuring key thought leaders on the digital dashboard.
“Radio’s Future in the Car: Best Practices for the Digital Dash,” will be presented at 2pm Eastern/11am Pacific by the NAB.
The discussion will focus on how Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are making an impact — or will soon do so in vehicles across the U.S.
Car radio advancements, with new vehicles incorporating connected dashboards more than ever, are altering the radio industry and listener experience—making what’s in the dash more than just a radio.
NAB Chief Technology Officer Sam Matheny will serve as moderator, directing a conversation featuring as panelists Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs, Hubbard Radio SVP/Programming Greg Strassell, and Broadcast Engineering Consultant Glynn Walden.
The live webcast is free for NAB members and $99 for non-members. Pre-registration is available here.
