NAB works the Hill

The National Association of Broadcasters took out full-page advertisements in Congressional Quarterly (CQ) and National Journal’s Congress Daily, making sure legislators and staffers have a refresher course in how radio helps record companies make money before the hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee kicks off. The ad states that “Radio is the number one way listeners discover new music and new artists. This free promotion translates to billions of dollars each year in music, concert ticket and merchandise sales for labels and their performers.”
