Under the beefed-up compromise for AM owners offered by NABOB, the agency would still open a window for AM station owners to move any translator up to 250 miles as proposed by the chairman.
NABOB’s solution recognizes that Class C and D stations would be disadvantaged in trying to buy translators in competition with larger Class B’s and A’s.
