WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a closely watched vote, the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday morning passed the Satellite Television Community Protection and Promotion Act of 2019.
The vote comes a day after the House Energy & Commerce Committee reached a bipartisan agreement, with revisions, and unanimously passed the Television Viewer Protection Act.
Today’s action, which sets up a full House vote, was cheered by the head of the NAB.
