The ticker symbol had already been changed to DIAL and now the name Westwood One has disappeared from Wall Street as well. The publicly traded radio network company is now officially Dial Global, the name it has been using since previously privately owned Dial Global merged with publicly traded Westwood One in October.

As previously reported, the legal name change took some time to complete. SEC rules required a 20-day waiting period after the name change notification was mailed to Westwood One shareholders. The target was “on or about December 12” and the name change was right on target. The official notice was filed with the SEC Monday, December 12.

The company is now registered with the State of Delaware as Dial Global, Inc.
