WSMV-4, Meredith Local Media’s NBC affiliate in Nashville, partnered with the American Red Cross and CMT in helping raise nearly $400,000 during a Rebuilding Tennessee Telethon on Thursday (3/5).

The funds will help rebuild the areas affected by the tornadoes that tore through Nashville and Putman County in the early hours of Tuesday morning, March 3.

News4 Anchor Tom Randles hosted from the CMT studio in downtown Nashville with the help of CMT’s Cody Allen

Recording artists and producers who shared their stories and donated their time and money, included Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood from Lady Antebellum, Kid Rock, Gavin DeGraw, famed record industry figure Scott Borchetta, and Cassadee Pope

“We are so thankful to all of those who generously made donations to help their neighbors rebuild after the tragic tornadoes,” said Rene LaSpina, WSMV General Manager.
