Nassau spins two in New Hampshire

The financial restructuring of Nassau Broadcasting Partners, which produced a change of ownership, required the divestiture of a couple of stations in the Concord-Lakes market of New Hampshire to comply with FCC ownership limits. The buyer that’s now been found for WNNH-FM & WWHQ-FM is Great Eastern Radio LLC.

Glenn Serafin, who brokered the deal, said that terms were withheld pending filing of the transaction with the FCC.

It is the second deal for Nassau in recent days. It also just agreed to send Classical WCRB-FM Boston to the WGHB Educational Foundation, which will keep a non-commercial Classical format on the station and change it’s exising Classical non-com, WGHB-FM, to a News/Talk operation. Nassau is making $14M in that deal.

Great Eastern is headed by veteran New England radio operator Jeff Shapiro.
