That’s what will be happening, rather than simple group building, in Oklahoma, as the Chickasaw Nation has cut another deal to acquire radio stations. It’s getting KTLS-FM Holdenville OK and KKFC-FM Coalgate OK from Woodstone Broadcasting in a deal valued at $1.5M. The stations will form a cluster with KADA AM-FM Ada OK and KYKC-FM Byng OK.
RBR/TVBR observation: Although the buyer claims to be an independent nation, we guess that still doesn’t remove them from the far-reaching tentacles of the FCC.
