Nationwide launches sweepstakes aimed at NASCAR fans

Nationwide Insurance announced the launch of the Switch and Save up to $500 Sweepstakes, a national promotion involving two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Kevin Harvick, which aims to help NASCAR fans save money on their car insurance by switching to Nationwide. The effort is featured in national television, print, radio and online and trackside ads.


“The Switch and Save 500 Sweepstakes was created with the passion of NASCAR’s loyal fan’s in mind,” said John Aman, Nationwide’s associate vice president of strategic sponsorship. “Winners will have access to the ‘Ultimate NASCAR Experience’ grand prize, while also having the opportunity to find out if they could save up to $500 on their car insurance.”

By calling 877-NW-Series (877-697-3743) NASCAR fans can request a quote on their car insurance and can register for the grand prize drawing for the ‘Ultimate NASCAR Experience.’ In addition, by making the switch to Nationwide they will also have a chance to save up to $500 on their car insurance. Five grand prize winners and their guests will be awarded a trip to the NASCAR race weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from February 27- March 1, 2009. Also included in the grand prize are tickets to both the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series races, use of a fully loaded Camping World RV in the infield, round-trip flights, $2,000 spending money and a meet and greet with Harvick among other items.
