Nautel Helps A Tampa Bay AM Shift To Digital-Only Broadcasts

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — “It’s time to make the switch to all-digital.”

Those are the words of the head of a privately held radio broadcasting company that has opted to cease analog transmissions of its Class B AM licensed to Egypt Lake, Fla., with a city-grade signal across the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater market.

“Continuing with analog broadcasting in 2021 when the technology exists to provide great content with great audio, and to NOT do it, is unthinkable,” says NIA Broadcasting President Neal Ardman.
