NBA Digital announced the expansion of NBA Game Time — the mobile app providing fans with access to NBA scores, highlights and news throughout the entire year — to television with new agreements with VIZIO and Roku.
During the remainder of the 2010 NBA Playoffs, fans will have access to NBA Game Time through the VIZIO Internet Apps platform and on all Roku digital video players. The new NBA Game Time app, featuring video highlights of every game, real-time access to game summaries, complete player stats, access to news, and more, will be accessible on VIZIO Internet Apps through the widget gallery and on Roku via the Roku Channel Store to fans for free.
In addition, NBA Game Time on mobile is available for $2.99 during the playoffs on the Android Marketplace, App Store, and Blackberry App World. Additionally, an NBA Game Time Lite version across all mobile platforms and featuring game scores, stats and NBA TV highlights is also free.
Since launching NBA Game Time in April 2009, NBA mobile apps have been downloaded more than 1.7 million times.
