Thursday Results:
* At 8 p.m. ET, “30 Rock” averaged a 1.6/4 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period versus Fox’s “American Idol,” CBS’s “Big Bang Theory,” ABC’s “Wipeout” encore and CW’s “Vampire Diaries.”  


* At 8:30 ET, “Parks and Recreation” (1.7/4 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 6 percent in 18-49 rating and by 33 percent in adults 18-34 (with a 2.0 rating vs. a 1.5) in a highly competitive time period versus Fox’s “American Idol,” CBS’s “Rob,” ABC’s “Wipeout” encore and CW’s “Vampire Diaries.”  Keep in mind that on average this season, original telecasts of “Parks” have been adding 34 percent to their next-day “live plus same day” 18-49 rating when Nielsen includes additional time-shifted viewing in “live plus seven day” ratings.
 
* From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, “30 Rock” (1.9/5 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 12 percent in 18-49 rating and 15 percent in total viewers. 

* The 9 p.m. telecast of “30 Rock” tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-34 and was #1 outright in men 18-34 against competition that included ABC’s encore “Grey’s Anatomy,” CBS’s encore “Person of Interest” and Fox’s “The Finder.”   
 
* At 9:31 ET, a rebroadcast of “Up All Night” averaged a 1.4/3 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall.  The “Up All Night” encore finished #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults, men and women 18-34.  Note that “Up All Night” originals have been adding 48 percent to these next-day “live plus same day” ratings when Nielsen issues “live plus seven day” results so far this season.     

* At 10 p.m. ET, “The Firm” averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall.  Week to week, “The Firm” is up 11 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.9) and up 10 percent in total viewers (3.767 million vs. 3.422 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:
* In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.4/6 with an encore telecast; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 2.4/6 with an encore; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 3.0/7; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.4/4. 

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.8/4 with an encore; “Late Show,” 0.7/3 with an encore; “Nightline,” 0.9/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.6/3

* At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.2/4 with an encore).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped “Late Late Show” (0.4/2 with an encore).

* At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.8/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters
