It’s an extensive “Saturday Night Live” video archive from 36 seasons of the iconic NBC series featuring over 5,000 clips and classic moments at www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live. Many of the clips have never been available online before now.
Timed to the 9/24 season premiere of SNL with host Alec Baldwin, NBC.com has released a montage highlighting Baldwin’s best SNL moments compiled from his 15 appearances. New clips will be added to the archive after each new episode airs.
Additional videos include highlights from each decade, as well as various themes such as “Deep Thoughts,” “Commercial Parodies,” “Weekend Update,” “Presidents,” and “TV Funhouse.” The site also offers photo galleries and games. Within the year the site will be upgraded to include a searchable database, character guides and the ultimate SNL trivia game.
