NBC hold its own w/ Thursday repeats; 'Community' '30 Rock'

From 8-8:30 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Community” (1.1/4, 2.8 million viewers overall) scored the show’s top 18-49 rating in this time period in 11 weeks (since May 20, during the May sweep) and its biggest overall audience in the slot in nine weeks (since June 3), pending updates.  “Community” is up week-to-week in 18-49 for a second straight week, with a gain of 10 percent versus the prior week (1.1 vs. 1.0) and 38 percent versus two weeks ago (1.1 vs. 0.8).
 
“Community” is up 38 percent versus its 18-49 average in the time period this summer (1.1 vs. 0.8).


From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of “30 Rock” (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) earned NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the time period in 11 weeks (since May 20, during the May sweep), pending updates.  “30 Rock” is up week-to-week in 18-49 for a second straight week, with a gain of 11 percent versus the prior week (1.0 vs. 0.9) and 25 percent versus two weeks ago (1.0 vs. 0.8).

From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of “The Office” (1.2/4 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) tied for #1 among the major networks in men 18-34 (pending updates).
From 9:31-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Parks and Recreation” averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall.

At 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (1.1/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) increased week to week by 22 percent in 18-49 rating (1.1 vs. 0.9) and 30 percent in total viewers (3.8 million vs. 2.9 million).  From its first half-hour to its second, “SVU” increased by 10 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 1.0), 15 percent in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3) and 20 percent in women 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.5), while the other major networks were flat or down half-hour to half-hour in all three categories. 

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (2.7/7 in metered-market households) out-delivered CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman” (2.5/6) and ABC’s combination of “Nightline (2.6/6) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.4/4) in Nielsen’s 56 metered markets. 

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.8/4; “Late Show,” 0.6/3; “Nightline,” 0.9/3; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3.

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.2/4 in metered-market households) trailed CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.3/4).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped “Late Late Show” (0.4/2).

At 1:35 a.m., Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
