NBC line-up of ‘Community’, ‘Parks and Recreation’ only best 4th place

From 8-8:30 p.m. ET, “Community” (2.0/7 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) is currently reporting week-to-week gains of 25 percent in both 18-49 (2.0 vs. 1.6) and total viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.7 million).  “Community” is currently #1 among the major networks in the slot in men 18-34.


From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, “Parks and Recreation” (2.0/6 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) currently ranks #1 among the major networks in the slot in men 18-34 and is #2 among adults 18-34 (tie) and men 18-49.  “Parks and Recreation” retained 100 percent of its 18-49 lead-in and has now retained 95 percent or more of its lead-in with 20 of 21 originals this season.   

At 9 p.m. ET, “The Office” (3.6/11 in 18-49, 7.1 million viewers overall) is currently tied for the time-period lead in adults 18-49 with ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and ahead of CBS’s “CSI” and Fox’s “Fringe.”  “The Office” is #1 outright among the major networks in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos.  Week to week, “The Office” is currently reporting gains of 13 percent in 18-49 (3.6 vs. 3.2) and 12 percent in total viewers (7.1 million vs. 6.3 million).

At 9:31 p.m. ET, “30 Rock” (2.9/8 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) currently ranks #1 among the major networks in men 18-49 and men 18-34 and #2 in adults 18-34 and men 25-54, airing against the concluding half-hours of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and CBS’s “CSI.”  Week to week, “30 Rock” is currently generating gains of 16 percent in 18-49 (2.9 vs. 2.5) and 10 percent in total viewers (5.7 million vs. 5.2 million). 

At 10 p.m., “The Marriage Ref” averaged a 2.0/6 in 18-49 and 4.4 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “The Marriage Ref” is #1 among the major networks in men 18-34 and #2 in adults 18-34 (tie), men 18-49 and men 25-54.  Week to week, “Marriage Ref” is currently up 5 percent in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 1.9) and 3 percent in total viewers (4.4 million vs. 4.3 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:
“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (3.1/8 in metered-market households) tied CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman” (3.1/8) and topped ABC’s combination of “Nightline (3.1/7) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.4/5) in Nielsen’s 56 metered markets. 

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 1.1/5; “Late Show,” 0.8/4; “Nightline,” 1.0/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.4/2.

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.5/5 in metered-market households) tied CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.5/5).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.6/4 in 18-49) out-delivered “Late Late Show” (0.5/3).

At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore telecast and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
