NBC Monday line-up w/ Fear Factor third-place

At 9 p.m. ET, “Fear Factor” (2.2/5 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall) is currently running within a tenth of a rating point of #1.


At 8 p.m. ET, “Who’s Still Standing?” (1.6 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) scored its highest 18-49 rating in four Monday telecasts to date and is currently reporting its biggest overall viewership among its seven telecasts thus far on all nights of the week (pending updates). 

Week to week, “Who’s Still Standing?” is up 7 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.5) and 11 percent in total viewers (6.168 million vs. 5.556 million).  “Who’s Still Standing?” is up 20 percent versus NBC’s total-viewer season average in the time period prior to “Who’s Still Standing?” (6.168 million vs. 5.151 million).  “Who’s Still Standing?” is currently #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54.

For a seventh consecutive telecast, “Who’s Still Standing?” is showing solid growth from its first half-hour to its second.  Monday’s telecast is up by 13 percent from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.5) and up 8 percent in total viewers (6.4 million vs. 5.9 million). 

At 9 p.m. ET, “Fear Factor” (2.2/5 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall) is currently running within a tenth of a rating point of #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and is #1 among those networks in adults 18-34, men 18-34 and men 18-49.  For its second half-hour from 9:30-10 p.m., “Fear” is tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and is #1 outright in adults 18-34, men 18-34 and men 18-49.  “Fear Factor” built on its lead-in by 38 percent in 18-49 rating.

“Fear Factor” is up 47 percent versus NBC’s 18-49 average in the time period earlier this season prior to “Fear Factor” (with a 2.2 rating vs. a 1.5, “live plus same day”), despite time-period competition last night that included ESPN’s BCS college-football championship game, CBS’s encores of “Two and a Half Men” and “Mike & Molly,” Fox’s “House” rebroadcast and ABC’s “Bachelor,” which “Fear” tied in adults 18-49 (2.2 vs. 2.2 for that hour) and outscored from 9:30-10 p.m. (2.3 vs. 2.2).  In total viewers, “Fear” is up 28 percent versus NBC’s slot average earlier this season prior to “Fear Factor” (5.468 million vs. 4.281 million).
