NBC News is looking for ideas from viewers, launching a new show, “Big Idea Bureau” to encourage viewers to share ideas to improve content and products. NBC News has selected the top ten finalists, it announced in a memo obtained by The Huffington Post: “Each idea submitted will be individually reviewed by the NBCUniversal News Group to decide whether it will be developed further.

— The Bubbler: “A brand that aggregates sharable news targeting Millennials”
–Impact Platform: “A platform to enable viewers and users to take action on news stories”
–News Rewards: “A rewards program for loyal consumers of News Group brands”
–News for the Commute: “A personalized audio product for news consumers on the move”
–News Stand: “A news comedy show using news-related content from stand-up comedians”
–Digital Live-Stream & Hub for Millennials: “Live, digital one-hour show with user engagement”
–MyBirthDay: “Uses archives to create birthday greeting products, potentially partnering with Facebook”
–Investor Clubs: “Engage communities in programming and news content”
–NBCU College Pulse: “Creating networks and engagement with college students”
The memo also stated that the next round of the “Big Idea Bureau” is set to launch in January.”
