The NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams app is now available for free on Windows Phone via the Windows Phone Marketplace. It uses the large high-res display to deliver video of full episodes and a user interface which brings the day’s biggest news stories, health and science reports, “Making a Difference” profiles and more.
Viewers can watch individual segments from the newscast, watch it in its entirety, watch exclusive online video and read Brian’s blog. Users can also read top headlines from msnbc.com and post video and comments on their Facebook page right from the app.
The app is also available on the Android platform, along with Apple’s iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
